The rat had been living in the alleyway for as long as it could remember. It was a tough life, but it was all the rat knew. Every day, it would scrounge through the garbage cans for food, and every night it would curl up in a corner to sleep.
But one day, things changed. The rat heard a loud noise from down the alleyway – it sounded like someone was shouting. And then, to its surprise, out from the shadows stepped a black cobra snake!
